Shirley R. Manthey 1937-2019

Shirley R. Manthey, age 82, passed away November 14, 2019 at her home in Geneva. Born October 4, 1937 to George and Adelaide (Stimpson) Jeppe. Shirley worked in the cafeteria at Austinburg Elementary School.

Shirley lived most of her life in Geneva, and enjoyed shopping, meeting her classmates to eat, flower gardening, collecting precious moments figurines, cross word and word search puzzles.

Survived by: Children: Tammy (Brian) Hull of Florida; Pamela Shaw and Dianne Manthey of Geneva; Dennis Manthey of North Carolina. 6 Grandchildren: Brian; Josh; Sheena; Ray; Aaron; and Danielle. 7 Great Grandchildren: Nathan; Tyler; Jace; Jordyn; Aubri; Emersyn; and Avery. Sister: Ruth Schroeder of Geneva.

A gathering of family and friends will be Friday, 11/22/2019 at Walker Funeral Home, 828 Sherman Street from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM.

Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery at a later date.
