Sylvia was one of those bosses that felt more like a friend than a boss. She always asked about family and kids and wanted the best for her employees. I looked forward to her visits the 5 years I was with Family Dollar and remember how sad she was to hear I had decided to leave the company. I will always appreciate her kind heart and encouraging ways. God Bless her family and friends during this difficult time. Rest easy sweet lady 💔 -Stacy

Sylvia, I will miss you greatly but you will not be forgotten. I have a long memory and will use it often to think of you. I will choose to remember you as the laughing face at the gas pump as you let me almost get in the wrong car on one of our road trips. Your laughing face was always a beautiful site to see so free and easy. You can now be with John and your mother as was your plan. Rest In Peace. -Georgina Baker
