Thelma Ellen Berg, age 92, resident of Madison, Ohio, passed away at Rae Ann Nursing Home on Tuesday, September 26, 2017. Born in Morgantown, West Virginia to James and Mittie (Poling) Fortney.

Survived by her children: Sue DeAngelis, Pam (Steve) Cycyk, Debbie (Chuck) Rose, Patrick (Helen) Berg, all of Geneva, Mike (Vickie) Berg of Florida. Grandchildren: Don DeAnglis, Tina (Roy) Kirkinburg, Jim Stroud, Tim (Leann) Stroud, Greg Cycyk, Christine (Sean) Ward, Gannon (April) Berg, Sarah (Nick) Mikash, Chuck (Kate) Rose, Heather (Greg) Geis, Matthew (Kristen) Berg, Jennifer (Joe) Berg, Randal Berg. Several Great-Grandchildren, one Great-Great-Grandchild. Brother: Adrian Fortney ofMadison.

Preceded by: Husband George; Parents; Siblings: Howard, Ralph, David, Genevieve Gehring, Sarah Williams,Evelyn Dalin.

Thelma worked in the cafeteria for the Madison School Systems. She was a member of the United Church, Geneva, PACE of Geneva, enjoyed gardening, reading, playing cards and games, needle work, and traveling.

CALLING HOURS: Friday September 29, 2017 from 6-8:00 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, 828 Sherman St., Geneva.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Saturday September 30, 2017 11:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home. OFFICIATING: Rev. Bryan Manary of the United Church, Geneva. INTERMENT: Unionville Cemetery, Harpersfield Township.
