Thomas E. Nelson 1970 ~ 2021

Thomas E. Nelson, age 51, passed away July 3, 2021 in Cleveland. Born in Geneva on March 27, 1970, he was a son of Rufus and Shirley (Crilow) Nelson. Thomas was a foreman for Affordable Home Improvements. He had also worked as a punch press operator for New Way Stamping in Willoughby.

The 4th of July was Thomas’s favorite holiday. He liked to hang out with his friends, including Pastor Winn of Geneva Church of Christ. Thomas liked his Cleveland sports teams, the Browns and Indians, but he also liked the Cincinnati Bengals. Other sports he enjoyed were NASCAR and wrestling. Tom liked to go camping, dirt bike riding and fishing.

Survivors: Sons: Cody & Eric Nelson of Painesville; Companion: Kimberly Slayton of Geneva; Brother: Dave Nelson of Lebanon, Tenn.

Calling Hours will be July 10, 2021 at Walker Funeral Home, 828 Sherman St. from 3:00 – 5:00 PM.

Funeral service will immediately follow, with Pastor Keith Winn of Geneva Church of Christ officiating.
