Obituary For Treva Marie James-Shorb
Treva M. James-Shorb, age 98, passed away October 4, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. Born in Dennison on September 27, 1928, she was a daughter of John and Oena (Long) Schoonover. Treva worked providing home health care to those in need. She was an avid reader and loved word search puzzles.
Left to cherish her memory, are her children, Martha Wilcox, Kenneth (Barbara) James, John (Sandra) Jamesj, Harry (Susan) James and Russell (Marie) James; Sister, Ruby Russell and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded by her 1st husband, Russell James and 2nd husband, Warren Shorb; Son: Harold and her parents.
A Celebration of her life will be held on November 14, 2026 at New Life Assembly on LaFevre Road, Geneva at 1:00 PM with Harry Pischura officiating.
