OBITUARIES

Virginia "Ann" (Samples, Kula, Chalmers) Denham, passed away March 15, 2018 at Geauga Hospital. She was born in Charleston, West Virginia, December 24, 1942, daughter of Eber Lewis and Julia Kathryn (Light) Samples, Sr. She married Ronald C. Denham on July 3, 1988 in Saybrook. She resided in Geneva, Ohio, with her loving husband, Ronald C. Denham, and with her son, Jeff A. Chalmers. Her loving son, Brian D. Chalmers, lives in Jacksonville, FL and her dedicated daughter, Rhonda Chalmers Lynch, lives in Jefferson, OH with her husband, Sam, and Ann's three grandchildren: Samantha, Bruce and Logan. Her sisters are Leona Frank (Ed) of Hartsgrove, OH, Bonnie Starcher (Dave) of Carpenter, OH; and Karen Dean (Lewis) of Conroe, TX. She also had many caring Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Step-children and Step-grandchildren. Also, was a great friend to many in the community.

She is preceded in death by her father, mother and brother, Eber Lewis Samples, Jr.

She was a member of the Geneva Camera Club, and volunteered for the Board of Elections. She last worked at Lakeland Nursing Home before retiring.

Interment: She will be laid to rest at the Evergreen Cemetery, 350 Eastwood St., Geneva, OH.
