OBITUARIES

William “Bill” Nellies, age 77, passed away 08/23/2019 in South Carolina, with his daughter by his side. Born in Painesville, Ohio, he was the son of the late William and Esther Me Lobse Nellies. he was the husband of the late Mary Nellies.

A 1963 graduate of Geneva High School, Bill was employed with General Motors until his retirement. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns fan. He was a member of Eagles Club 2243 of Geneva as well as the UAW. He enjoyed trivia, cooking and playing golf, but most importantly, he loved spending time with family and friends. He resided in Lexington, South Carolina since 2017.

Surviving are his daughter, Christine (Stephen) Dornburg; stepson Michael (Danielle) Fishleigh; grandchildren, Emily Dornburg; James Dornburg; Samantha Howland; Sabrina Haussman, Kyle Fishleigh, Olivia Fishleigh, and Connor Fishleigh. He is also survived by four great grandchildren, Liam and Christopher Dornburg; and Sophia and R.J. Howland.

The family would like to thank the staff of Wellmore of Lexington and All Seasons Hospice of Irmo, SC.

A graveside Service will be held 10/05/2019 at Evergreen Cemetery at 11:00 AM.
